Wedding at State Botanical Garden of Georgia in Athens

This year, we had to wait until March for our first wedding of the season. Candace and Brian were married at the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia in Athens, a beautiful city that’s home to the main campus of University of Georgia, one hour east of Atlanta.
On their wedding day, Candice and Brian saw each other for the first time before the ceremony in the chapel. We all decided that the best place for their portraits would be in the gardens in the new area between the Day Chapel parking lot and the visitor’s center.
Candice and Brian, thanks for everything! Also many big thanks to Courtney Rosen, Candace’s sister-in-law, who is, by the way, a successful portrait photographer with her own studio in Athens. She helped keep the bridal party, family, and friends on track during the day.
