Atlanta Botanical Garden Engagement Portraits
The winter weather here in Georgia is so unpredictable. We can have a nice, pleasant, sunny day with 70 degrees, and the next week it can be dark and cold with freezing temperatures. This year, for us as wedding and portrait photographers, the winter has been incredibly warm with most days ideal for outdoor portraits.
Rebecca and Morris decided to take their engagement portraits at the Atlanta Botanical Garden in Midtown Atlanta, where Rebecca said yes to Morris’s “Will you marry me?” several months ago. Though the Botanical Garden charges a little extra over the general admission for arranging professional portraits on their grounds, we would definitely recommend the place as it provides some unique backdrops for engagement pictures.
In February, the gardens close pretty early, at 5 pm, so we decided to change the place to the Atlantic Station to take some night portraits.
Rebecca and Morris were fantastic, and we look forward to photographing their wedding in August.
