Pinal and Keval – Indian Wedding in LA
Welcome to our biggest blog post ever, with more than one hundred pictures. It is from one of the most important events in our wedding photography career.
In the last weekend of March, our studio took part of the extraordinary Indian wedding of Pinal and Keval near Los Angeles. Pinal and Keval invited more than 300 guests from all over the United States and the United Kingdom.
On Thursday, families and close friends met at the bride’s parents’ home in Ventura, for Mehendi, and on Friday for Pithi, Vidhi, and other private pre-wedding ceremonies.
The majority of wedding celebrations were held at the Westlake Plaza Hyatt in Westlake Village. Friday evening was devoted to an elaborate Garba event with performances and traditional dances.
On Saturday, Pinal started her big wedding day as early as 7 a.m. in a beauty salon, and the Groom’s family and friends met at 9 o’clock in front of the hotel for baraat, the groom’s arrival celebration with music and dances.
The Wedding ceremony was held outside, and we almost got rained out. For us, the most emotional moment during the ceremony was the arrival of the bride, who was escorted to the mandap by her brother and cousin.
The forest-themed reception lasted more than 5 hours and included dance performers, twenty speakers, fabulous Indian food, and lots of dancing and fun.
Dear Pinal and Keval, and both families, many thanks for having us, Atlanta wedding photographers, photograph your wedding in California. Your support and hospitality during the entire event was simply amazing!
