Lauren and Jordan: Wedding at Peachtree Christian Church Atlanta and The Biltmore Ballrooms
I photographed Lauren and Jordan’s elegant wedding in early June. Because Lauren and Jordan had their rehearsal dinner, getting ready, ceremony, and reception all in different venues (the Peachtree Club, Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, Peachtree Christian Church Atlanta, and the Biltmore Ballrooms), I was able to get a wide range of beautiful backgrounds for their portraits. In particular, the Peachtree Club has a great terrace for evening sunset shots, and the Peachtree Christian Church is one of the most photogenic churches in Atlanta with its gothic arches and intricate stained-glass windows.
Following the personal and intimate ceremony in the church, we moved to the Biltmore for the reception. I think you’ll agree that the couple’s decorations were absolutely breathtaking, carefully chosen to go with the style of the elaborate Georgian Ballroom stucco.
I had a great time working with Lauren and Jordan, who make a fabulous couple despite the fact that Lauren is a Georgia Bulldogs fan, while Jordan roots for the Florida Gators (something that was joked about quite a bit during the rehearsal dinner 🙂 ).
